Sarah Hustoles
Sarah Hustoles has led Healthier Generation's strategic technology initiatives to optimize communication, collaboration, engagement, and efficiency for more than 10 years.
Sarah began by leading the organization's migration to in-house technical services and has built a team of technology professionals that specialize in user experience design, full stack engineering, and systems and database administration. Over the course of her tenure, she has overseen the organization's transition to the cloud as well as the modernization of web services and data and reporting infrastructure to increase integration, agility, and capability.
Sarah's commitment to maximizing social impact through technology has resulted in the production of technical solutions that have helped create healthier environments for millions of children nationwide. Under Sarah's leadership, Healthier Generation has also produced digital products for the Office of the First Lady of the United States, Partnership for a Healthier America, Nike, CDC, NACS, and the Presidential Youth Fitness Program, among others.
Prior to joining Healthier Generation, Sarah led technology activities at Tiger Oak Publications and the University of Minnesota’s College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences.
Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education and master’s degree in Design Communication. She resides in Portland, OR.
