Fit for a Healthier Generation

You’ve heard that kids should get their recommended 60 minutes of physical activity every day. But it’s hard. Not all of us have 60 consecutive minutes throughout the day to dedicate to moving more. That’s okay. You can break that hour of movement into shorter bursts of physical activity that fit into your daily routine.

We dug a little deeper into this and really tried to figure out what a burst of activity could look like, should look like. We decided it was best to consult the experts, so we called upon some of our nation’s leading fitness celebrities – those people who have been making physical activity exciting and rewarding for years. Before we knew it, Bob Harper, Billy Blanks, Tara Stiles, and Zumba were onboard and ready to design these bursts of fitness in their own way and with their own specialties.

After months of development, filming, and producing, we now have a video series – a collection of pocket-sized videos to get kids excited and motivated to move at any time or place during the day.

Each one of our videos showcases a fitness celebrity with their unique fitness flavor and specialty. Each expert takes 3-5 minutes to lead kids in a series of stretches, exercises, and activities to increase their heart rate and maybe even break a sweat. And then after the video ends, you can get back to what you were doing and factor those quick minutes of movement into your daily physical activity needs.

This video collection is really designed to be a grab-and-go tool for parents, teachers, out-of-school time staff, and anyone who works with youth and could use some extra options to get everyone moving a little more throughout the day.
