#WearOrange

We would like to introduce to you the first ever Special Edition Orange UP® band dedicated specifically to the Alliance and our work to improve childhood health. UP by Jawbone™ is a wristband and app that tracks how you sleep, move and eat—then helps you use that information to feel your best.

What does that mean? That means that the UP is a system that takes a holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle. The wristband tracks your movement and sleep in the background. The app displays your data, lets you add things like meals and mood, and delivers insights that keep you moving forward.

And that’s what gets us really excited- reinforcing our belief in the positive influence adults can have on young people by being healthy role models. By teaming up with Jawbone®, we hope that young people and adults will be inspired by this new technology and the ability we all have to set healthy goals, track our progress, and celebrate our success. Along with designing an UP band in our Alliance orange, Jawbone will make a $20 donation to our cause to support our school and community programs for every Special Edition Orange UP sold.

“At Jawbone, we want to give people everywhere a tool to live healthier lifestyles and achieve their goals, which is why we’re deeply inspired by the work the Alliance for a Healthier Generation is doing to affect change at an early age,” said Travis Bogard, vice president of product management and strategy at Jawbone. “With UP, we can all support the Alliance’s mission by being role models, financial contributors, and voices for a cause we truly care about – teaching kids healthy habits that will last a lifetime.”

So together with Jawbone we ask you to wear orange and fuel the movement to create a healthier generation with your style and support. Get your UP band in the Alliance orange, get in tune with your health, and spark the conversation with others about theirs.

How will you use your UP band? Let us know on Twitter with the hashtag #WearOrange.
