JAM World Record 2013
We have teamed up with the JAM School Program for the second annual JAM World Record (JWR) event.
JAM World Record 2013 is a national physical activity campaign, led by our nation’s schools and kids. On September 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in your local time zone, we invite the entire nation to pause for Just-A-Minute (JAM) and take a quick, fun fitness break from wherever you are, and set a record for the most people JAMmin’ to Better Health.
The purpose of this the JAM World Record is to raise awareness about the importance of everyone being active every day.
This year we’re also adding a little friendly competition. The state that rallies the most people to sign up as a percentage of their population will win the 2013 JAM title.
So we need leaders in every state!
You can earn cash as your state’s JAM leader. All you have to do is get the word out in your state and get as many people as possible to sign up and participate. We will give you all the tools you need to spread the news and then you can use your creativity to get the most people involved. We will be rewarding the leaders whose states place:
- 1st – receive $1,000 and the option to have a celebration ceremony
- 2nd – receive $500
- 3rd – receive $250
