Healthy Schools Program Forum
Today, President Bill Clinton honors 267 of the healthiest schools in the nation at our eighth annual Healthy Schools Program Forum in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The Forum is our big event that we throw each year to honor the innovative schools and committed individuals who have transformed campuses around the country into healthier environments for students and staff. Each honored school will join us for the weekend to celebrate with other leaders, join and listen to a panel discussion, and receive their National Recognition Award on stage Monday evening.
This year during the ceremony, President Bill Clinton will use data from our Healthy Schools Program to show how all schools receiving our National Recognition Award and a large majority of our participating schools are meeting or exceeding updated federal nutrition standards for healthy school meals.
The 267 schools being recognized represent more than 25 states and the District of Columbia. Read the story of one of our gold schools.
