Campfire | Take 5: Poetry Brain Breaks

Share your summer memories with the power of poetry!

Poetry can bring comfort and joy, reduce stress, and increase language learning. And it’s fun!

Healthier Generation, Kohl’s Healthy at Home, and Pomelo Books have teamed up to bring students and families a special series of Poetry Brain Breaks. As we kick off summer, poet Janet Wong shares “Campfire,” a poem inspired by childhood memories of camping and cooking over a fire during the summer. What’s your favorite summer activity?
