Our Cause

We believe that every mind, every body, and every young person should be healthy and ready to succeed. But today in the United States, not all kids have the same opportunity for a healthy future.

Since our inception, equity has been a central tenant of our work with the recognition that poverty and educational disenfranchisement are key drivers of health and health equity. In addition, we understand that racial discrimination continues to be an explicit factor in the systemic distribution of resources that support whole child health.

We know that a child’s physical, social, and emotional health is critical to their learning and development. That’s why we’re committed to ensuring that every mind, every body, every young person is healthy and ready to succeed.
