Craig Wethington

National Advisor, Whole Child Health – School Climate

Craig Wethington is a National Advisor of Whole Child Health supporting Healthier Generation’s integration of positive school climate, supportive discipline, and violence prevention strategy. In this role, he convenes and equips health, school, and community champions with an array of tools and resources that prepare them to equitably transform environments surrounding young people and their families.

Prior to joining Healthier Generation, Craig managed the School Climate Center at the Minnesota Department of Education. The Center, comprised of content experts with direct experience, support schools and educational stakeholders by providing resources, training, and technical assistance focused on improving school climate and conditions for learning.

Craig holds a Master’s in Public Health from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s in Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is a South Carolina native and still resides in the Palmetto State. In his spare time, Craig enjoys golfing, woodworking, and visiting state parks.
