Jessica Reggi, D.O.

National Advisor, Whole Child Health – School Health Services

Jessica Reggi is the National Advisor, Whole Child Health for School Health Services. Since optimal student health is important for growth, development, academic success, and school attendance, Jess ensures schools and districts have the resources and professional learning opportunities necessary to prioritize their students’ health. She also supports Healthier Generation's Tobacco-Free Schools work. Jess is a board-certified pediatrician by training.

Prior to joining Healthier Generation in 2022, Jess practiced clinical pediatrics for 8 years, most recently at a federally qualified health center where she honed her Spanish language skills. Because of her passion for the intersection of education and health, she transitioned to a non-clinical role a few years ago as the Director of Health & Safety for a nonprofit centered around early childhood education. Jess also serves on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit called Family Matters which believes in an equitable society for all and offers a variety of youth programming, including a “microschool.”

Jess lives in Chicago with her husband, daughter, and 3 rescue pets. She likes visiting national parks, trying new restaurants, and going to concerts.
