Afterschool Snacks: Leprechaun’s Green Smoothie

This post is part of our Afterschool Snacks series, featuring easy, kid-chef friendly recipes that can be made at home or at school.

This March, celebrate National Nutrition Month® and St. Patrick’s Day with a nutritious and delicious green smoothie! This recipe is inspired by our Green Monster Smoothie, which can be easily altered to suit anyone’s taste buds or dietary needs. Make it at home, during out-of-school time, or at school (for a breakfast or a school store à la carte item) for a healthy St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

This green smoothie packs a punch of nutrients as it incorporates fruit and leafy green spinach—giving this smoothie a delightfully fruity flavor. Those who aren’t sipping on this smoothie are sure to be green with envy.
