What's your #NewDaysResolution?

When the clock struck midnight on December 31, it marked the dawn of another new year. With every new year comes the opportunity to lay a plan for what we want to accomplish during the next 365 days!

Whatever’s on your 2017 wish list, the Alliance can help.

Resolve to set realistic goals?

Try using one of our #NewDaysResolution ideas, or create your own and tell us about it using #NewDaysResolution on social media.

Resolve to move more?

Take a page out of WNBA star Jewel Lloyd’s playbook and try this 2-minute video to kick-start your day, get your students out of their seats, or boost your heart rate during a commercial break.

Resolve to eat healthier?

Take the guesswork out of finding healthy products and recipes using our Smart Food Planner. The Planner is a one-stop-shop for everything you need to plan and prepare healthier meals for yourself, your students or your family.

Resolve to hold yourself accountable?

Putting your goals in writing is one of the most effective ways to make sure you deliver. Work with your school wellness council to update your Healthy Schools Program Assessment and identify goals in your Action Plan, which can serve as your guide for the rest of the year.

Resolve to make a yearlong resolution?

Take our quiz: How Likely Are You to Keep a New Year’s Resolution, which will help you know if you’re ready to take the plunge. (Find the quiz at the bottom of this page)

Whether you’re looking to take a small step, such trying a new healthy recipe, or a giant leap such as applying for a National Healthy Schools Award, the Alliance is here to help. Check out our Training Center for helpful resources, and reach out to our team of national experts with any questions about how to create a healthier environment for kids.

We look forward to being your partner in health for 2017!
