Rachal Pichette

Vice President, Marketing and Communications | Alliance for a Healthier Generation

Rachal Pichette serves as Vice President of Marketing and Communications where she oversees the organization’s digital and conventional marketing, media relations, and storytelling efforts to drive brand awareness and programmatic success. Rachal is a senior marketing strategist experienced in working alongside corporate and nonprofit leaders to develop and execute impactful growth marketing initiatives.

Prior to Healthier Generation, Rachal was the vice president of brand development for the United Service Organizations (USO) where she was responsible for helping to advance the public's recognition of, admiration for, and loyalty to the USO brand through strategic message development and brand positioning. She led the organization's story development, digital marketing, graphic design, and editorial teams and played an active role in helping foster and grow corporate partnerships. 

Rachal currently volunteers for Preservation Austin, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the city's diverse cultural heritage through the preservation of historic places. She has also served as a volunteer for several military and veterans’ charities, including Blue Star Moms and the New England Center for Homeless Veterans.

Rachal has her bachelor of science in business administration (marketing) from Sonoma State University in California. She received her master's in public administration (nonprofit organizational management) from Suffolk University and a certificate in fundraising management from Boston University's Metropolitan College, both in Massachusetts.

Originally from Northern California, Rachal currently resides in Austin, TX with her husband and three young daughters.
