Shauvon Simmons-Wright
Shauvon Simmons-Wright serves as Director of Special Projects with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. In this role, she is responsible for the overall management and implementation of one or more of the organization’s strategies or initiatives within targeted states/regions across the nation. She is responsible for grant management and overseeing project operations to strengthen Healthier Generation’s programs and position the organization for continued success. To effectively support equitable whole school health, Shauvon develops and maintains deep partner and funder relationships across sectors, including with public health, government, and business collaborators. She has more than 20 years of experience working in school and community settings with a passion for building collaborative partnerships to create and sustain thriving, healthy communities.
