Social-Emotional Health

Social-emotional well-being is a critical part of Healthier Generation’s whole child health approach. Kids with a strong foundation in social-emotional health are better able to identify and manage emotions, express empathy, form healthy relationships, make responsible decisions, and cope with stress—giving them a greater chance to live up to their full potential in school, at home and in life.

We also believe that happy, healthy kids start with happy, healthy adults. With that in mind, Healthier Generation, along with our partners, work to address multiple influences on children’s health and well-being, including the social-emotional health of the adults in their lives.
