Social-Emotional Health

Kids’ physical, emotional and social well-being are inseparable.

Kids with a strong foundation in social-emotional health are better able to identify and manage emotions, express empathy, form healthy relationships, make responsible decisions, and cope with stress—giving them a greater chance to live up to their full potential in school and in life.

Outside of the home, children and educators spend the majority of their time at school, making it an ideal place to promote positive physical, social and emotional well-being.

Healthier Generation, together with our partners, is committed to addressing the health needs of the whole child—inclusive of social-emotional health—to ensure every child can grow and thrive at school, at home, and in life.
